My main goal is to produce happy and healthy PBGVs living in loving homes.  In addition, I strive to produce dogs who are able to excel in all competitive arenas, including the conformation ring, obedience, agility, tracking, and in the hunting field.

My dogs all live in my home as a part of my family and my puppies are raised in the house.  This close contact with my puppies enables me to match the temperament of the puppy to each new home, whether the puppy will be a family companion or a competitive show dog.  My experience for over 30 years has provided me with the opportunity to evaluate many dogs and puppies which also gives me insight. 

As any other breed, the PBGV has health concerns. It is my goal to breed dogs free of major hereditary health problems.  Appropriate health screenings and clearances are obtained for all brood bitches and stud dogs.   HiCotton puppies come with a health guarantee should a hereditary problem arise which interferes with the dog’s ability to function in its intended capacity.
